Sleep mode issues
I want to create a task in task scheduler that will put computer to sleep when there is no activity. The power options on my computer will not work. Thought this option might work. I can create one that works at a certain time of day, but would like to do one that sleeps when on activity.

Sounds like you'd have to write your own program that would act as a listener on the machine. May I suggest using a tool such as AppSense or RES WorkSpace Manager? These tools can run as a service and allow you to set policies that action when a certain event you've set takes place. e.g. Your use disconnects their network cable so their mapped drives are unmapped. Your user reconnects to the network so the drives get re-mapped.PLEASE MARK ANY ANSWERS TO HELP OTHERS Blog: rorymon.com Twitter: @Rorymon

Hi , As far as I know, you need to write it as a listener as Rorymon said. The following article for your reference: Triggers http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc748841(v=ws.10).aspx Regards Vincent Wang TechNet Community Support
