Skype for business - meeting

hi Team,

I purchased one user license in skype for business plan2.I run a training institute and want to schedule webinar for 5-10 students.

is it possible to invite them online for a meeting or Do i need to purchase licenses for these 5-10 people who are part of my training?

As these are temporary users I do not want them to be part of creation users.

Appreciate your response

Hi,

You don't need to license these attendees in that scenario. Provide them the meeting details and they can join via the Web App. You can have up to 250 participants in a Skype for Business Online meeting.

Hi,

The Skype for Business admin center is a administrator tool. You need to schedule a Skype for Business meeting using Outlook.

Then others receive the Skype for Business meeting invitation, when they join the meeting, they click the invite URL, they will join the meeting through Skype for Business Web App.

In addition to Eason suggestion of creating a structured meeting via Outlook / Exchange. You can also create an ad-hoc conference on the fly by using the 'meet now' option in the Skype for Business client. Once you're in this conference you can view the meeting entry options to obtain the URL and provide that to attendees.

You'd need to resort to the above if you don't have your Skype for Business online planned integrated to any kind of Exchange messaging platform.

Kind regards
