I have O365 Business Premium, and Visio 2013 on a user PC. When trying to install Skype for Business it comes up with a problem saying click to run and windows installer versions cannot sit together - so it just fails the install.

Looking online it says Visio 2013 from VLSC is a windows installer version so will not work with Skype. This cannot be right - surely there is some way to have Visio and Skype for Business running on the same PC.

So how do I install O365, Visio 2013 and Skype for business on teh same PC since the only way to get Visio is from VLSC as an MSI install?

I have a very similar issue (with Office 2013 Pro and Skype for Business client): an installer version cannot be combined with a click-to-run version.

No clues so far from Microsoft on how to solve, other than getting the more expensive Office 365 subscription that includes Office in a Click-to-run version.
(In your case that would involve getting a very expensive Office 365 subscription option for Visio Pro at $15/month)

I am able to resolve this on multiple computer / laptop.

follow below steps:

1. uninstall Visio 2013 completely.

2. Uninstall O365 office.

3. install O365 with updates so that you can get Skype for Business 2015 as package.

4. Install Visio 2013.

This will work properly.
