Skype for Business client not updating presence for Calendar entries for multple users

With Outlook open or closed, the Lync client does not update the presence information based on meetings in the Exchange Calendar.  I checked the OAUTH configuration and it seems to be correct, but my understanding is that this should default back to the Outlook integration as a fallback so this should still work.  I can reproduce the issue at two different Lync Server environments, and on both pools at one customer site.

Both Servers are on Lync 2013 CU6, and all updates are applied to the client.  Of course, the Lync client is set to automatically update its status in settings.

That's going to specifically use Exchange Autodiscover and EWS.  Does the autodiscover.yourdomain.com A record exist?  Are you being prompted for credentials?  Check out the following two links to see if they help at all:

The Calendar Infos will received through EWS deployment. Check the EWS status of the lync client with STRG, right mouse click on the Lync icon an look for the configuration info.

Yes, AutoDiscover and EWS both work.  Bear in mind that I can see my meetings from the Lync client and they do update with changes even with the Outlook client closed.  This was previously working.

Check https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg398300.aspx

Get-CsClientPolicy |fl *cal*, WebServicePollInterval

And see what your DisableCalendarPresence,CalendarStatePublicationInterval, and WebServicePollInterval  are set to.

Lync only checks periodically, so new meetings may not change presence if they were just entered.

I had found that too in my googling and set webServicePollInterval to 10 seconds.  The other two values are null.

If I remove a calendar item for a meeting that is occurring presently, the meeting is removed from the Calendar tab in Lync but the presence does not update.

Under tools->options->personal, is your information manager set to Exchange or Outlook and is "Update my presence" checked?

I also set CalendarStatePublicationInterval to 10 seconds and DisableCalendarPresence to $false, closed and reopened Lync and it seems to update after about a minute.

Presence is now updating, or just the calendar view?

Presence updates several minutes after the calendar view.

Hi,

Glad to hear that you have solved the issue already. From your description above, it should be the issue about the wrong value for the two Lync client policy parameters DisableCalendarPresence, CalendarStatePublicationInterval.

Here is a great blog about the process Lync get the free/busy presence from Exchange below may help you understand the issue easily:
