Skype for Business / Lync 2013 - Spell Checker not working?

The user has the checkbox checked for : 'Check spelling as I type'.

The spell checker in IE and Word work fine. What settings locations need to be deleted to reset this?  I tried deleting all of the communicator and lync folders in the user's roaming and local folders

Hi,

Did you use Lync 2013/SFB client with Office 2010/2007?

1. Lync/SFB client, Options--IM--Check Spelling as I type. Make sure click it.

2. Make sure Lync/SFB client update to the latest version and then test the issue again.

Office 2013 is installed.

Under Regional and Language Settings, the default keyboard layout was set to non-English. Setting it back to US English resolved the issue.
