Skype for Business - Icons missing?!

Hi everybody,

I got some problems with my Lync 2013 client since the upgrade to Skype for Business. I am somehow missing icons and texts.

I reinstalled Lync and the according Windows Updates multiple times, but can't get this fixed.

Does anyone of you have an idea how to get the icons? I'm a little bit lost otherwise :-(+

BTW: I think it's with Win7 only.

Can you reproduce this issue on another computer?

I tested on an Windows 7 computer and everything was going well.

In addition please note that you must install the patches on a minimum build of 15.0.4569.1506 (SP1).

I think this might have to do something with my profile, because I got a new computer with 8.1 installed and right now I can't even install the patches without breaking Lync :-(

Hello there,

Exit from the application.

Please try to delete your profile from 

%userprofile%\appdata\Local\Microsoft\office\15.0\Lync

Delete (sip_name@domain.com)

Try to login again.

The good news is: I managed to install the update, so it's Skype UI now.

The bad news is: Unfortunately I'm still not having any icons :-(

I deleted the profile, but it didn't help :-/

Update: I even deleted the whole windows user profile, still no luck :-(

UPDATE:

Okay, I tried a lot by now. I reinstalled Windows, deleted the profile (multiple times, before and after reinstall), deleted the Lync profile on the serverside.

But it still shows the empty popups :-(

However, I found something interesting. If I login to the computer with another account and start SfB, then login as my original user it works. So this has to do something with my account, but I just don't know where those settings could be :(
