However In spite of the following, I am experiencing the following issues

A. - PSTN callers are not bypassing the lobby. - When I send out an Invite based on the settings above, all PSTN users are asked to enter the meeting ID, State their name hit pound and they wait in the lobby hearing music and have to wait for the meeting to open.

B. As the leader, when I join from my cell phone, I do not get asked If I am leader and to enter my PIN. I hear the same thing as others & I have to wait for the meeting to open.

There has to be a way that the leader can commence the meeting and be asked for his/her PIN.

If I hit join meeting from within Lync, It works but when calling from my cell phone, I cannot authenticate by phone as it does not ask for my PIN number.

Hope I am making

I want to clarify a point quicky, if you were to join from a Lync client, do you need to hit an "admit" button to let the callers into the meeting?  Or once the meeting is started are they automatically there?  If they're automatically there, they are bypassing the lobby, it's just that the meeting hasn't started.  They cannot communicate until a leader joins.  Sitting in the lobby would mean you'd manually have to admit them once the conference is started.

What is the exact wording you hear after dialing the conference bridge number, entering the conference ID and hitting #?  What happens if you hit * a second after you enter the conference number and #?

Hi Anthony, You've always been helpful in responding to my pleas. It could very well be as you have stated that they are bypassing the lobby only that the meeting has not started. I have tried pressing the * after entering the conference ID and it says "a leader has not joined the meeting." How do I configure the settings so that it asks me for a PIN to start the meeting ? Ideally I the past I have heard the following, " if you are the leader press * or # and enter your PIN"

I really can't say I've seen that... there must be a switch somewhere that I'm unaware of.  But let's take a look, I trust you're in "Site:Lync Laval Connectit".  You have EnableAssignedConferenceType set to False, are you getting a new conference ID with each meeting?  Can you send a screenshot of the meeting options page from a meeting schedule via Outlook?

Okay Anthony,

It is not smooth but this is what I did.

I made everything default settings so when I do get-csmeetingconference

Identity                        : Site:Lync Laval Connectit
PstnCallersBypassLobby          : True
EnableAssignedConferenceType    : True
DesignateAsPresenter            : Everyone
AssignedConferenceTypeByDefault : True
AdmitAnonymousUsersByDefault    : True
RequireRoomSystemsAuthorization : False

Now - where it says please enter your conference ID and press #,

I pressed * instead. I actually had to enter it 2ce, just like if I entered # for some reason once I enter the conference ID and hit # immediately , It doesn't like it so she says please enter # now or wait for the meeting to open".

Once I hit * * it says, if you are the leader please enter your PIN number now.

If I allow it to play the lobby music , I cant authenticate and so I have to redial the conference ID and hit * * to to be able to enter my PIN.

There has to be a cleaner way. As I cant be the only one having this issue ?

I sent the screen shot but for some reason, It is not showing. That is why there is a huge gap in the initial query. I will try again.

Are you using a dedicated meeting space at this point or a new meeting space?  If you create a new meeting space and play with the various options by clicking the meeting options button in the invite, does it make a difference at all?

Hi ,

If you are available, I am not opposed to sharing my desktop so that you can have a look under the hood.

As an update, this was taken offline a bit.  It appears that there may be an issue with the media files themselves.  We are working to see if a fresh copy makes a difference.
