Microsoft can you get your finger out and send round something to fix this asap? I work in media and can't skype my media contacts. It's a pain in the proverbial. That's the last time I download an update from Microsoft if this turns out to be correct. I beginning to regret having anything to do with microsoft despite decades of using nothing but... Groan... This is a bug on skype on all platforms (including mac). You have to delete the shared.xml as noted above
