Skype 5.3 was working on Windows 7 64 bit until a Microsoft update last week.
Dear Leo JuangLijun, "since Skype is not the product of Microsoft, I suggest to contact Skype Forum for further help" It's been all over the news that Skype was bought by Microsoft "If it does not work, try to perform a system restore. Maybe the update package conflict with Skype." Love this .. "maybe!" ... LOL ! It's a shame that most client facing workers from microsot have no clue how to handle things. Should get a PR creash course! And now it's our fault that you guys at Microsoft released and update that messed up our system and it's us that have to waste time looking for answers. Kudos! Why not take responsability for what you've done and let people know that you have no idea how to fix this.. but that you'll look onto it? Anyways, Skype now unfurtunately is a part of Microsoft.. and what's the first thing that happens.. Skype crashes .. sounds familiar? blue screen of death?
