Single program (WMP) Audio output to two audio devices simultaneously...
I have an ASUS nvidia graphics card with HDMI and standard VGA. I have the HDMI going to my HDTV 25 feet away from my computer. The HDTV has a speaker system hooked up to its audio out port. My computer has its own set of speakers plugged into the standard rear audio port. Currently I have to choose between the HDMI device or the rear audio port computer speakers. I can set windows media player to play media sound on the HDTV and have all other computer sounds come out of the computer speakers by setting the rear audio to the default device and setting WMP to use the HDMI. What I can't get is windows media player to play sound from both devices simultaneously. It would be very nice to have music playing from the HDMI on the HDTV sound system AND from the computer speakers plugged into the rear audio port on the computer. Am I asking for too much?

Hi, I think this may not work. Based on my understanding, only one of the output devices can be active at a time. Considering this question is also related to some specific devices, you could contact the manufacturers to see if this function is supported or if they have any constructive suggestions. Hope it helps. Alex ZhaoPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
