Similar problems There are four computers in my apartment, 1 Windows 7, 1 XP Professional, and 2 Vista. The computers are networked, but if I go to the Vista computer and try to access the Win 7 computer is gives me an “error code 0x80070005 access denied” for the c drive. If I try to access the “Users” folder it will let me but it takes me to a default desktop and documents folder that is not mine. The folders have nothing in them. From the Windows 7 computer, I can access files and folders on the Vista 1 computer and I can put the files I take off back but if I try to put one of my files on the Vista 1 computer it says “access denied”. I cannot get files from Vista 2 or add files. All I get it that “Default” folders with a desktop and document folder that is not my desktop and document folder When I look from the Windows XP computer I cannot access documents on my Windows 7 computer or the Vista 2 computer. All I get is a “users” folder that gives me access to a “Default” folder and a “Public” folder neither of which takes me to my actual desktop or “Documents” folder. When I try to connect to the C:\\ on the window 7 computer, it says “not accessible”. On the Windows 7 computer I tried giving permission to everyone on the network but that does not seem to work. Can anyone help me????
