I just upgraded to windows 8, and found out that the throttle slider on my "Sidewinder Precision 2 Joystick" is not working in Windows 8.

I tried it on other windows 8 PC's with the same result.

When I try to calibrate it, I can see that it is responding in the software, but afterwards it's still not working.

I think its a bug in the Windows 8 driver?

That seems the device doesnt compatible with Windows 8.

I suggest to contact device manufacturer for the new driver, also update BIOS and Chipset for your machine.

Furthermore, you can try to install Windows 7 driver with Windows 7 compatible mode.
