I am having one domain controller running on windows 2008 and its FQDN is as follows : CRDC501.DC51.local total 18 computers are part of this domain and if i go to one client and open the "network & sharing centre" and its detailed view where it will list all the network connection & against each network card which is present on that computer the status will be shown as DC51.local2 I tried to disable and enable couple of tiime so that it will identify its status with DC51.local but could not. In all other systems it is showing DC51.local. i am not having the clue from where it is taking DC51.local2. This is happening on windows 7 OS. Note : I have craeted this domain 3 times with DC51.local if need some more details pl let me know.
