Should file "api-ms-win-service-core-l1-1-0.dl l" be hidden?
My computer keeps flashing up error messages saying that file api-ms-win-service-core-l1-1-0.dll is missing.
This is affecting several programs - I can't open my Norton Antivirus, any MS Office programs and IE10 is running really slow and not opening links.
I've done a search and found that the file is in my C: drive but it's hidden and despite being the administrator on this laptop, I cannot uncheck the hidden box, as I don't have sufficient permissions?
Please help!
