Shortcut Key Malfunction
I have a Dell XPS M1330 and I was having problems running Windows 7 on my pc, so I did a clean wipe and reinstalled. Everything works great, except I accidentally created a short cut key during that process. I don't know how it happened, but now, whenever I type "SHIFT + Y" I get automatic selection of text and/or moving to top of page. Does anyone know how I can undo this?

Hi, does this occur in Safe Mode? 1. Restart the computer. 2. Keep pressing the F8 key until the Windows Startup menu appears. 3. Choose Safe Mode by using the up and down arrows on your keyboard, and press Enter. 4. Start the computer in Safe Mode. (Note: In Safe Mode, your system display and Desktop will look and perform differently than in Normal Mode. This is only temporary. To return the system back to Normal Mode, we can simply restart the computer. ) 5. Check if the issue still occurs. If yes, we may consider this is a hardware related issue. Also, to narrow down the issue, you can also connect another USB keyboard and see if the issue occurs. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
