Several Windows 7 Users Freeze
I would suspect PEBKAC. Follow typical interrogation to get to a clue. What do you mean by lock-up?What were you doing when the lock-up happened? ...more Confirm that Windows Updates are current and the browser add-ons are current(FLASH, JAVA) Check display and network adapter drivers to confirm they are current. Check the Action Center, flag in notification area, open it, select Maintenance drop-down, select View Reliability History. When you select an icon on the graph a description is provided.

Hi there, We have several users complaining that Windows 7 intermittentley locks up. I've checked Event viewer and there is nothing apart from when the system was powered off (Critical 21/02/2012 09:33:58 Kernel-Power 41 (63)). Also there is no blue screen dump file as it isnt actually blue screening. Do you have any other thoughts on problem resolution? Cheers
