Hi,

I ran Step 2 Setup or Remove Lync Server Components without any errors and rebooted when required but when I reopen the Deployment Wizard, it doesn't show the step as complete.   If I rerun it, no errors but the problem occurs again.

Any ideas?

Running 2008 R2 with Lync 2010

It is normal behavior.

When you make change to your topology, it is necessary sometime to re-run the Step 2.

So it will never show as "completed" once you go back in.

when i run the setup or remove components Lync, I get an error something like this "RTCuniversal can not write / read on RTCLocal"
please its support, the solution such as what should be required to overcome or handle the error ??

any idea, please...

while running the local set up for Edge server configuration ,in the 2nd step on running Edge server setup Setup or Remove lync server components we are not getting any error message but then final status doesnt show as complete.There is no error in any of the log files. please advise us whether we could proceed further to complete this deployment and starting up the services
