Setup of irrelevant programs done at start of program
Hello, I've noticed that at the start of one program, some other completely irrelevant program will say that it has to set up (and then quickly runs through it, with "gathering information" and then a quick setup). For instance, when I start Microsoft Outlook 2003, there is a message that Microsoft Visio 2007 has to setup (and it quickly does that in a little box while Outlook is running). When I click on "Options" in an unrelated application, it asks for the Dell Setup CD - when I just click that away, everything continues as it should (that behavior never occured under Windows XP). Thanks in advance for any information on what this could be.

I have seen this happen after installing a service pack for office. If you don't at least once provide the original install disks, then you keep getting asked for the disks upon subsequent uses of the program.

I ran "repair" with the setup disk and that seemed to solve the problem for a day. This morning, I got the same little setup box for Visio when I ran Outlook 2003 - I just clicked it away, and there were no further problems, but it's irritating. It only happens occasionally, and possibly when not all services start (for whatever reason) during the boot-up process.
