Setting up home network with both ethernet and wireless connection.
I would like to start by mentioning that this plan is possible. I managed two times in the past to do it but this time I just can't, so I'd like to see if someone has a more permanent solution! Here we go:In my room I have 2 pc. One for working and one for gaming and entertainment.PC 1 : Running Win XP Pro SP3 & PC 2 : Running Win 7 ProBoth of them are connected with each other through the onboard network controllers, using a crossover cable (the black one). So I can access certain shared folders on both of them.PC2 also has a usb wireless network adapter. It is used to connect with my router in order to have internet access. So, in the past I managed to share also the internet connection, so both of the pc had internet access at the same time. Can someone help me to find the permanent settings so I can do it again? Thanks in advance!1 person needs an answerI do too

HiSince PC2 with Win 7 is the Host the configuration of ICS has to be done on it with Win 7.http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Using-ICS-Internet-Connection-SharingWireless USB adapters are very inexpensive (in the USA you can get one for less than $15).You are much better off getting an adapter for the XP, and connect it too to the Wireless Router.
