Setting up FAX requires a CD I don't have, any other options how to set it up?
I got a computer from a friend, I don't have any paper work, or cds for it.I went to try to set up my FAX by going to control panel/add or remove programs/add or remove windows programs. I clicked the box to add FAX service and I get told to add the CD labeled "Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 CD into the CD rom.Is there anywhere on the Microsoft I can download this CD or the requirement package to activate the FAX service? Thank you1 person needs an answerI do too

See if this helps: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322389.By the way, in order to make the transfer of the PC from your friend to you legitimate, he is required to supply you with all of the CDs and manuals that came with the system initially.Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]--------------------------------https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/profile/Brian.TillmanIf a reply helps, please vote it as helpful.
