Setting default local user
Hi! I wonder if i have 2 local accounts with different permissions and i want one of the accounts to be set like the standard user (prefilled) when i come to loging screen. Even if i had login with the other one before i want the first account to be prefilled in username when i logout ore restart the computer. Is this possible??? //Joh

You can set or create this reg key: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon, DefaultUserName If you have to create it then use a string value (REG_SZ)

Is the computer part of a domain? I'm asking to rule out the possibility of a group policy overriding the setting.

Even a clean install will get policies. I suppose your pc is part of a Novell network since it has the client installed?
