Hi, Is there a third party VPN Client on the machine, such as Cisco? Or you just would like to use Windows built-in VPN connection? If the client is Windows built-in VPN connection, I suggest you refer to the following steps to create a new connection. 1.Click Start button --> Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network and Share Center --> Click "Set up a new connection or network" under the "Change your networking settings". 2.Select " Connect to a workplace" and click Next --> Use my internet connection (VPN) --> Type the internet address and destination name in the box --> Check 'Don't connect now; just set it up so I can connect later' and click Next --> Enter your VPN username and password --> Then click the 'Create' button --> Click the 'Close' button to finish. Please understand that the virtual connection depend on Internet. Hence, after the computer connecting to Internet, then you can manually connect the Windows VPN connection. Thanks, Novak

Based on the picture, I found that the "Connect to" item was blank. Please select which network you would like to connect and then select "Connect Automatically" option. If the issue persists, I suggest you perform the above suggestions to remove the old dial-up and create a new one. However, if do not know IP address or destination name, I suggest you contact your network administrator for further assistance. Thanks, Novak

Hi,After creating the VPN connection, you can access it via clicking the icon of "Network and Sharing Center". The dialer is usually listed in "Network and Sharing Center". Thanks,Novak

HI, Novak I am facing the same problem and your answer is not solution. Windows 7 won't "accept" VPN connection as current dial-up connection Try this on Windows 7 : 1. create test VPN connection (workplace network) 2. In Internet Explorer go to Internet Options - Connections - Always dial my default connecton and set your test VPN connecton as default 3. Apply , close and then open Internet Explorer and look again at your settings- your test VPN connection was not accepted, and your dial-up window is empty (or your test VPN connection is not listed) Please try and let us know Thanks, Sasa
