I'm getting Event 7001 on every starup (Win7/64/Dell980). All drivers have been update, bios flashed to latest version, and in services, TPM Base Services has been set to automatic. Found 555908d1-a6d7-4695-8e1e-26931d2012f4 but when you say "delete the hive (the first hive)," do you mean 555908d1-a6d7-4695-8e1e-26931d2012f4 itself? You can't mean WINEVT or some higher level. I think you're calling a hive what I think of as a "key," Also, in layman's terms, can you tell me what that does? Finally, you advice "clear your logs then restart your system." Can you tell me please how to do that?

You might get this error if in your bios TPM is not activated. If you don't use fingerprint you can disabled this service.
