Server service activation
Hi - I am doing a troubleshooting on my Windows 7 pc to find out why it is consuming so much memory. I'm approaching this right now by using the mimimum needed to run the pc and then adding as I go. I'd like to still share my files with other computers in the house while I am doing this and I know that I need the Server service running. What all do it take to keep it going - I do know the dependencies and have them running but it still needs, I think, the srvnet driver going. Doesn't this load on startup or is there something else that needs to be activated to get the srvnet going? Thanks!

the server service is needed to share files, this is correct. To see the cause of a high Memory usage, please download RAMMap [1][2] and run it when you have the high Memory usage. Now save the data as a RMP file. Zip the RMP file and upload the zip to your SkyDrive [3] and post a link here.
