Server 2008 Printer GPO issue
Good day all. I currently have a 2k8R2 AD domain and using GPO for mapping drives and printers. I updated the XP machines i have in my network with the needed patches to work with the newly released GPO process in 2K8. The issue I am coming accross is that some of the windows 7 machines are taking a significant length of time to log in. WhenI say a significat length, i mean 15+ minutes at times. The odd part about this is that it is not on every system, it is very sporadic. I have made sure that the driver versions are the same for the 32 and 64 bit systems. IF anyone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated, as creating scripts to do this will be a bigger pain, as I am sure most of you can agree with. Thank you,What does not kill us at first, just means it did not try hard enough!
