Server 2008R2/Win7 Folder Redirection - Taskbar Warnings
I've got a Server 2008R2 server set up with a Windows 7 Pro machine as a tester. I've read up on folder redirection and have gotten it to work properly, redirecting Documents, AppData, Desktop, etc. However, when I redirect AppData, I get a warning when I click on shortcuts pinned to my Taskbar. Internet Explorer, Windows Explorer, doesn't seem to matter what it is. The warning is basically treating the shortcut as a download from an untrusted Internet site - "Do you want to open this file? Name: ...\User Pinned\TaskBar\Internet Explorer.lnk Publisher: Unknown Publisher Type: Shortcut From: \\servername\Appdata\username\ApplicationData... I can okay through it, but it's going to drive me insane to have to do that every time I want to use one of those shortcuts. Any thoughts? Or, if someone has a better idea of where to ask, I'd appreciate the help. Thanks!

Hi,
Based on my research, I would like to suggest the following:
Please try to add this UNC path to the Local and Trusted Sites Zone.
Meanwhile, I would like to share the following with you:
How to bypass the security warning "Unknown Publisher" with the checkbox "Always Ask Before Opening this File"
Hope this helps. Thanks. Nicholas Li - MSFT
