Sending one email with picture attachment causes duplicate emails.
When I send email with text only there is no problem sending it successfully to the recipient. When I send email with a picture attachment the email will be received from 30 to 70 times with no pictures or text. Totally blank. Is there an answer for this? I also have recently installed Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010. Please help, Stan

Go to Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced and uncheck the option to break apart messages larger than a certain size. See if that was the problem. steve "Huggy's Music" wrote in message news:2ff49e53-f754-4a2c-b025-68208c619a32...When I send email with text only there is no problem sending it successfully to the recipient. I also have recently installed Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010. Please help, StanI have had a similar problem for years with Outlook Express. Send one picture and one email is delivered. Send two or more pictures and duplicate emails are received - usually two, but sometimes three are received. They all have text and are identical. Very annoying to my friends to get all these!I looked at Steve's suggestion of breaking apart messages and it was not checked. I even tried sending them again afterchecking the box. Neither made any difference.I would like to try Ron's suggestion of clearing all accounts out of OE and creating 1 new account to see if that clears it, but do not understand what he means. If you are on, Ron, would you please clarify this procedure? This has been a problem with both Verizon and now with Frontier, our new internet carrier. Yahoo sends only one email no matter how many pictures are attached, but I don't like the program at all. I prefer the picture to appear right in the email as Outlook Express does it.Any ideas? Thanks!

Thanks! I FIXED IT! I downloaded "Shrink Pic" (Google it) and it runs in the background for all picture attachments, uploading, and posting. To use in Outlook Express: Open a Create Mail page. Open your photos. Drag the photos to the page and they will appear in the Attachment bar and will be reduced. You can now send these to as many recipients as you wish and they will only receive ONE email. You can choose the size you want to send. I am using the "medium" size. Hope you who are still having problems will be checking this message!

First see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 to make sure you don't have any 3rd party programs that could be interfering. Then go to File | Identities and set up a new Identity. Then add your mail accounts and see if its working okay. If so then go to File | Import | Messages to get the messages from the older Identity. steve
