Send to - Mail Recipient - only working with Outlook Express not Outlook 2007
Recently purchased a new Dell with Windows XP x64 on it. Installed Office 2007. Have been unable to use the Send to Mail Recipient function with anything but Outlook Express which does me no good.I have went through the process of making sure that Outlook is my default in Set Program Access and Defaults.I have even removed access to Outlook Express but that just means nothing happens when I try to send to recipient.I have used the fixmapi.exe file on my computer.I have unassociated/reassociated the mapimail file type.I am unsure what to do at this point1 person needs an answerI do too

Here are a couple of things that may help to solve the issue:1. Have you made Outlook the default in the Start Menu? If not, right-click Start > Properties > Start Menu Tab > Customize and make the email link point to Outlook Express. You should now be able to right-click a document or photograph > Send To > Mail Recipient > and key in your email details.2. If you still cannot right-click a document and send to a mail recipient. In a Run window (Windows key+R), type sendto and press Enter. Click File > New > Text Document and name it Mail Recipient.mapimail (note the space) and ignore the warning about the extension.

I have set it in the Start Menu. The second option, firstly says file with same name already there, as it is not missing, just not functioning properly. I can set it up to use Outlook Express, but that is not my mail client. I use Outlook 2007.Thanks
