Seeing Mac Time Capsule With Windows 7
I use a Mac Time Capsule as my home router and share drive. I've just bought a new laptop with Windows 7 and have successfully connected to the wireless network, but can't see the capsule's hard drive when I go to my networks. I could see it with my XP machine. How can I see and connect to the capsule for backups and file sharing with my Windows 7 machine? thanks,

Hi, Please create a DWORD named LmCompatibilityLevel set to value of 1(one) at following registry. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa For more information about the key, please refer to the link below: LmCompatibilityLevel Note: Please backup the registry key before modifying it to avoid unexpected situation. Hi Novak -- Can you please provide instructions for how one sets the DWORD? What I mean is what Windows 7 function or command do I use, and where do I find it? Where / how does one find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa? Also, how does one backup the registry key? Thanks very much, Russ
