I have a computer that is running Windows 7 Ultimate. There are three Security Updates for Windows 7 that need to be installed (KB2644615, KB2667402, and KB2676562). Each time I attempt to install these updates, I receive error message Code 80073712 - Windows update encountered an unknown error. I have attempted to install each of these three updates individually, and receive the same error each time. The Windows help was of no use since it is an unknown error. I have already attempted to run sfc/scannow and have installed the system readiness tool. What suggestions do you have? Thanks, Thomas

Thanks for the input. We have attempted to install each from the download center, but still no solution. The next step is to try resetting Windows Update components.
