Security Update for Outlook KB973705 (Oct 18th) gives email error 'the server name you entered cannot be found on the network'. If I delete the update, all is fine. I tried to install the 'bug fix' KB974554 but it said it was already installed (maybe they've since added it to the security 'fix' since I get the update every few days and I delete it every few days). oh yeah, running windows XP media with Outlook 2003 Office pack 3. I have a similar problem with outlook 2007 on Vista, I keep having to system restore every few days. My error manifests itself with asking for the password but not accepting it.John
