Its been installed on my computer (vista premium) and windows update keeps requesting it again and again

Thanks for your reply.I verified the installed updates and in the update history it shows bneing installed more than 10 times ans succesful. When I go to all updates in the folder to uninstall it it's not there.

Hi, Please take the following steps to troubleshoot the problem. 1.Remove security update 954430 by using the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel. 2.Delete the Msxml4.dll file from the %SystemRoot%\System32 folder. 3.Repair the previous installation of MSXML 4.0 by using the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel.
