Search uses 100% CPU and lots of RAM
When I search something in Explorer the usage of the Explorer process is 100% for a period of half an hour after the search and during this time the system is very sluggish. And also the memory usage goes as high as 480MB. Here is a screenshot of the memory usage after the Explorer process was done using 100of CPU: http://www.shrani.si/f/2I/UX/4xLHE8mR/capture.png I have also disabled the Windows Search service in services.msc but it made little to no difference. I am using Win7 x64 with 6GB of RAM

Hi ashrack:Did you do a clean install of Win7 or an upgrade install? I seem to remember reading something about problems with search in some conditions when you upgrade instead of a clean install. I'll do some thinking and see if I can remember where I saw that!
