Search
I see I'm not the only one who thinks Microsoft has more and more psychotic employees every day, this time with respect to search. Only an abusive, wife beating and child molesting programmer could reap benefits from what was done to search. I've read http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/desktopsearch/technicalresources/advquery.mspx and choose not to learn a new language to be able to do what worked fine before XP was destroyed with "updates" which pushed us to Windows 7. So my question is "Are the psychotics happy and in control, or are we going to get a reasonable search utility for Windows 7?" Thank you.

It would be easier to give an answer if you provided some hint about the "psychotic" nature of the actual search function. You're not content, that's ok, but why?"192 GB ought to be enough for anybody." (from the miniseries "Next Generation's Jokes")

Windows 7 search is horrible just like Word 2003, Excel 2003, the Control Panel and everything else. XP search - title, content, drives you want to search, date modified, etc. Windows 7 search - what picture is little Suzy looking for. What color is it. .....totally useless parameters.
