Does anyone have a script out there that will allow me as the administrator for our Lync 2013 Server to administer the groups and contact lists in Lync 2013?

I have seen Contact Manager for Lync by a company called Vytru. But the price is too expensive. There is LUMT for Lync but the instructions are super vague and I can not find anyone who has successfully implemented it. I have found a lot of dead ends...

I was hoping there was just a straight forward Power Shell script that could take my current groups and contacts and allow me to replicate that information across my organization.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can try the script in the link below, This Script is used to bulk import predefined contacts & custom groups into Lync users' contact list:

Also, you can create Exchange distribution group whose membership will be automatically updated in Lync, but you still need to manually add the Distribution Groups.
