Screensaver and power settings not being applied
For some reason with Windows 7, my screensaver never kicks in and the display never turns off.I have them set at 5mins for screensaver, 10mins for display turned off in a custom profile. I'ev tried various settings to no avail.I don't see anything obvious on the event viewer at all.Any idea how to even start to debug this at all ?More info. I too have that same problem. I have my profile customised as 10 mins screensaver, 30 mins display off, and the screensaver would never go into effect. Is there something that I need to check on my end also? Hardware Info:Pentium Dual E2200, Abit IN9-32X MAX, GeForce 7300 GT, 4GB RAM, LSI SAS8344, 3x36GB RAID5, Samsung 19" Monitor.

After scanning several posts about Microsoft wireless mouses preventing screensaver and display power off issues I disconnected my Logitech mouse and that allowed the screensaver to function correctly. Not sure of the fix yet as I have yet to be able to invoke the solution for teh Microsoft mouse.
