Screen rotation problem
Hi I have a HP tc4200 tablet. When I turn my screen to flip it in to tablet it rotates the screen to portrait as it should and when I flip it back it again rotates the screen back to landscape. Ok everything works as it should until I press thetablets own screen rotate buttonwhich make it rotate to portrait but upside down but comes back to normallandscape when Ipress it again. I've tried to look everywhere for a solution to block certainscreen rotations but without any luck. Has anyone else had the same problem or just by chance happen to know a solution. Thanks

Tablets have special drivers for all of this stuff. My Lenovo tablet does simiilar things and I've found that you have to first visit Windows Update to get the optional drivers, and then you may have to install the Vista drivers from the manufacturer's website to have a hope of making it work. In my case, not all of the drivers are compatible so I have some limited functionality. - John

In my limited experience with tablets, I remember that the Mobility Center in Vista had opens that controlled most of the aspects of screen rotation, including when you press the button. I would imagine that 7 handles this in much the same way, but I don't have a tablet to test it on. This is assuming that you have the right drivers!
