If you mean a simple screen capture facility, there is the Snipping Tool (snippingtool.exe) in C:\Windows\System32.

I mean a video screen capturing like snagit.

I'm evaluating BB FlashBack and it's working very good to date.  It's just that It would cost me $89 to have it.  I'm considering buying it but I'll wait just a bit more in case there's similar software for less and doing at least what this one does.

What I like is when the record is done you open it in editor and can very easily add text for certain duration directly on the video.  But it's not only that since I know other programs can do it but it's the ease of doing it

This is working fine, with no errors, on Win8.1 Professional 64bit, for me.

As i know, screenshots can be taken in any Windows version but video capturing can only be done via any third party tool. here http://techzend.com/screen-capturing-tools-windows-81/ are some tools, and i have used "BB FlashBack Express" from the list and it's working good on my Windows 8.1 PC, also in this tool there is option to record video with voice of laptop's mic or internal laptop's video. By this feature you can make video of the screen of any video playing on your laptop and its voice and quality will be HD.

You can use an app named "Bandicam" from the app store and here are http://techzend.com/screen-capturing-tools-windows-81/ some good tools like "BB FlashBack Express" that's working fine of windows 8 - 10

I've successfully install however cannot record.

Any comment.. I need help..

I click to red button and there is an option to select/adjust screen, however cannot start record whenever I tried ctrl+Shift+f12 or I press again the red button it stop I check the specific folder however no record is there..
