Scheduled Task Wizard stops responding when you click Next in xp
I'm having a little trouble with the scheduled task wizard. After I click to add a new task, the wizard box will open. When I click the next button, it seems to hang. It resolves its "hang" after a time. (sometimes I will use Ctrl+Alt+ Del and open the task manager and it seems to help it resolve, but it may be a coincidence) So it does not stay in a hung state. I am able to complete the task scheduling process. However, it doesn't seem to be as smooth as it should be. I am logged in on an account with administrator priviledges. There is a knowledge base article for Windows 2000 with a similar issue (support.microsoft.com/kb/830924). However, one difference is that the explorer process is not consuming alot of system resources. Just waning any input as to if this was normal behavior or something that needs to be addressed or might indicate some type of system instability. I am running SP3. Thanks for any input.1 person needs an answerI do too
