I have created a scheduled task, in XP Home edition, to shutdown at 1 am daily, but can't find how to do a shutdown/restart. When I created the SHUTDOWN task I got an error message that said something about "access denied.You do not have permission..." I just closed the error window, and the scheduled tasks showedmy shutdown entry, but it won't run. I am the administrator user, with onlyone other user (guest user, turned off). Do I have to do some special sign-on to have access to this and MSCONFIG functions?1 person needs an answerI do too
