Saving Downloaded Files
on build 5600 when i try to download a file (newapp.exe) I get an error that tells me I do not have permission to save in this location. I have tried the suggested location and some others. This just started this afternoon and I have saved many like files in the past. Any ideas?

This error might shown due to an issue with UAC. Windows Vista has a very successful powerful security options regarding files called "User Account Control (UAC)"where it blocks sudden attacks of hackers to modify files/options in your computer where it's a UI controlled tool prompts you each time files/advanced software options which Windows Vista sees it's a must for the end user to modify it on his own risk by allow it to run or not, once you're unable to open folders you mensioned up, that's due to some issue with your User Account Control (UAC) software, this option is disabled if you installed TweakVI software as it forces you to disable it so if it's installed for you, uninstall it (Highly Recommended). To check if your User Account Control (UAC)is on or not go to Control Panel>User Accounts and click on Turn user control on or off then check it "if not checked" or vice versa. Good luck

ahmhdy is posting false information on TweakVI here. TweakVI does **not** require that UAC is disabled. It neither forces the user to disable UAC during setup. Just FYI.Steve

Dies you system have UAC's turn on or off, If off the system will not give you access to the Virtual Temp directory as its relative position has change. You should NOT turn off UAC's If you wnat to create a new location on a new hard drive by default the root of the drive you can only add folders and then add data to the folders. Just FYI.Steve Steve, I've tried this TweakVI since July, it forced my UAC to turn off, I'm not sure if newer versions corrected this. Thank you
