Saved certificates in IE are missing.
Hello, I work for a company that makes a program which asks authentication via certificates. We notice now that many of our customers complane that the certificates disappear. This in Windows 7, Vista or XP. The anti-virus is different to. Could this be an update of IE? Daan

To my knowledge, Internet Explorer relies on Windows Certificate Store for dealing with certificates. Not caused by Internet Explorer updates I think. To make sure the certificates really disappear, ask one of your customers to check if they have your certificate in the Windows Certificate Store. (Press Windows key + R > type certmgr.msc and press Enter > Action menu > Find certificates).

Hi , Frist, please refer to the reply by Swapnil99pro to check if the certificate really disappears. If it does, you may add the Certificate Snap-In in MMC for Local computer and import the certificate to the store that you want. I think it should not have something to do with IE updates. Add the Certificates Snap-in to an MMC: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc754431.aspxTracy Cai TechNet Community Support
