Same Vista - Wireless connection problem
Hey guys, just saw its been a year with this issue, I recently got a Gateway with Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bits, and a wireless network adapter (Intel 3945ABG), I have a linksys router with WEP security enabled and it's been working fine for about two years with a dell pc with a wireless pci card. It works fine with other laptops not having vista installed, but its been annoying to have to restart the new gatewaylaptop everytime the network fails and my network adapter cant find the router... i already upgrade the firmware on my router, still got problems... I downloaded the latest driver for the network adapter (V.11.1.1) but still haven't installed it. hope everything goes fine with just unchecking the ip v6.0 option, at least for now the event viewer stopped from having the Netw4v32 error.... well lets see how long does it last.. Has anyone got the solution upgrading the network adapter driver? Any other suggestions?? I am seriously thinking on reseting the new laptop and install windows 2003, or 2000 (works perfect!!!) but this vista.... its kinda annoying... If I ever find the solution, I'll let you know!!
