I seem to have quite a few problems but this one is the one that really gets to me. I have a full size and a laptop computer and I am using Thunderbird on both computers. XP on full size and windows 7 on laptop. I am on Bell wireless (computer illiterate and don't know if you need all this) I cannot send e-mail from my desktop computer, can from my laptop. I get e-mails on the desktop but don't get them on the laptop even though they should be coming to the same address. If I don't soon get some help There will be two computers buried in the backyard (lol) Now that I have you as confused and myself, I will just hope thee is help on the way. Thanks Kathie1 person needs an answerI do too

Thanks Kathie Normally when you have set up the proper settings on both computers when one receives an email it is deleted from the server (Bell) and won't be available on the other computer's email. To set it up to be able to download the same emails to both computers you need to set them to not delete emails when received. The method to set the proper email settings depends on the email client you are using for each OS (Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Windows Live Mail, Thunderbird, etc.) and the settings for your ISP, IMAP, POP, etc. Since you are using thunderbird and can receive emails on the desktop ensure that the receive settings are set the same on the laptop and the send on the desktop is set to the same as the laptop.

Hi Kathie,Are you able to receive web mailsIs there any issue with particular id or all the mail id’s have problem in receiving?Any errors? You can compare the settings of both machines since you have same email accounts integrated in other dektop.Open Thunderbird and select the Tools menu. Click the Account Settings tab, Here you find your email account which is integrated go through the options and make sure all the options are same like dektop. If you want to integrate a new account follow the steps below :Step 1. Go to Tools and Select Account Settings tab From the new window select the Add Account button, then E-mail account and click Next. Step 2: Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the From: field of all outgoing mail and the email address which the others will use to send email messages to you. Click Next. Step 3: Please set the incoming server to be of type POP. Address is yourdomain.com Step 4: Click Next and type in the username. Please use the full e-mail account name. Example: Email removed for privacy instead of you.Step 5: After clicking the Next button, please type in the name of the e-mail account as it will appear on your PC. Click Next, and then the Finish button. Step 6: Click the Outgoing Server(SMTP) in the left pane.
