SSTP - Certificate not trusted problem
I set up SSTP on a Windows 2008 R2 system. I generated my own self-signed certificate for the 2008 machine using IIS. When I attempt to connect to the 2008 machine from a Windows 7 system, I get the following error:
Error 0x800B0109: A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root
certificate which is not trusted by the trust provider.
Can someone please direct me to some instructions on how I can go about getting the Windows 7 machine to trust the certificate?
Thanks,
Richard

The challenge is to make the Windows 7 computer trust the root certificate.
For this make a binding for the same SSL certificate to a new Web Site in IIS.
Then, browse to the website with Internet Explorer.
You will receive the same kind of warning. Continue to the website.
In the address bar open the certificate properties and install the certificate and certificate chain.
Then, try and connect again using SSTP.
