SQLDUMPER library has failed initialization
When I switch my PC on I receive the error message SQLDUMPER library has failed initialization your installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with Please uninstall then re-run setup to correct problem. This question was asked by someone else 5 days ago, and got NO response - which usually means it's rare. So can someone please give some guesses? I do not know to which program this is referring, so do not know which program to uninstall or reload. Thank youTake care, Janet23572 people need an answerI do too

Thank you for this - at least I know what is broken. Most of what they say is way over my head, and the article makes no mention of problems that require re-installation. Where would I go for this?Take care, Janet2357

I uninstalled Outlook’s Business Contact Manager. At the next reboot I received the following error: “SQL Writer. SQLDUMPER library failed initialization. Your installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with. Please ininstall then re-run setup to correct this problem.” I read 2 solutions online:A)http://blog.sqlauthority.com/2009/05/28/sql-server-fix-error-sqldumper-library-failed-initialization-your-installation-is-either-corrupt-or-has-been-tampered-with-please-uninstall-then-re-run-setup-to-correct-to-correct-this-problem/You could remove “Microsoft SQL Server VSS Writer” program. [ from Add/Remove Programs in Windows Control Panel ] B)http://www.eggheadcafe.com/software/aspnet/30051125/sqldumper-library-failed-initialization.aspxProblem is caused by uninstallation of Business Contact Manager leaving the service SQL Server VSS Writer with the startuptype set to start automatic. This service expects a working SQL Server installation that I had uninstalled. After setting the starttype to manual the error no longer appearedIn XP open -control panel - administrative tools- services - scroll down to SQL Server VSS Writer, double click on it and change automatic to manual I did (B) and error went away and pc worked properly.
