SOLVED Problems with SFTP and HTTPS, possibly other aswell
My computer refuses to handle SFTP uploading properly. I've gone about and tweaked every possible setting there is in the Control Panel and registry, in the end falling back to a restore point when none of the changes affected positively to the speed and reliability of my upstream. When I begin an SFTP upload, the speed starts from 1-40KB/s and gradually slows down to 0bits/sec and/or disconnects in mere seconds. I'm not fully sure, but seems like I am experiencing some lagspikes when playing online aswell (haven't had the time to test extensively). And by those I mean worse than what you can usually expect, I've been playing games online since ISDN times. FTP, SFTP and Dropbox upstreams on Ubuntu (dualboot, installed it in order to rule out possible faulty hardware) 3/3 Working properly. My 2nd guess that if it isn't OS related, I don't know if I could have enough bad luck to have faulty drivers for both the onboard and the PCI network adapters. Please forward me to any other place you can think of that I might find a solution, if you cannot think of any reasons for this. SOLVED: Linksys WMP54G + Windows 7 = Utter ____. Even though Linksys states their former Vista drivers for this hardware are working as should, the issue was instantly solved after returning it to the store and switching to D-Link DWL-G510.
