I can not get my netwrok perf monitor to communicate with a Win 7 PC using SNMP. The app errors out saying the PC does not respond to the community string. I have set this up (SNMP) on multiple PC's running XP and W2K and never had a problem. Is there something unique to Win 7 that I am missing?

Hi, Can you tell me the detail name of the network monitor software? Can you use it on another Windows 7 machine? To verify whether the software is compatible with the system, I suggest you contact the software manufacturer first for further assistance. I too have a Windows 7 SNMP issue inthat our SNMP Extension API's do not seem to be called by the SNMP Agent. This may be related to the above problem statement. Thanks Tom
