SMTP Server on Windows 7
Hi. I'm setting up php5 for Apache2.2(for my home web server) and it asks me for SMTP Server settings(such as the mailing address etc.) I know that Windows IIS7 does not provide a SMTP service(it does not show in the IIS Manager). How do I set up a SMTP service on my home computer for my home web server(apache) and how does it work exactly? I would really appreciate any help Thanks

I have had problems with network setups like that. You are advantaged using Windows Server for that sort of stuff. Apache works fine for a single web site on Windows XP and up Server 2008 can do as many as you want. My MVP is for the Windows Desktop Experience, i.e. Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 IT Remote Assistance is available for a fee.
