Hi, i want to know if is possible to connect to shared folders by smb in windows 8.1. I can't connect to my shared usb disk plugged to my router in windows 8.1. From windows 7 it works right when i map a new network drive but from windows 8.1 doesn't work . Anyway i can acess from android with ES File Explorer. Whats wrong with Windows 8.1 on this? Anyone can help me about this? Thanks is advance.

Do you mean you cannot mapped the network shared USB drive?

If so, whats the error message?

Based on my understanding, if you want to map the network device, you need confirm the device IP address.

Whats the brand of your router? You can follow the guide to see chapter like: How to map a drive on Router.
